This also aids in reducing wastage on items like water or fertilizers and increase on yields of crops to be produced. In the energy industry, AI has come in handy especially in scheduling as well as monitoring of energy usage. 

Advanced electricity networks, which are also referred to as smart grids, help organize electric supply and demand, reduce losses, and integrate renewable power sources.
